I finished two test knitting projects this week - short sleeved sweater and some baby socks.
The sweater is from cotton classic from tahki yarns. The pattern is written by a designer I met on ravelry. The bottom is lace, there are decreases at the waist, eyelets for a ribbon, and two options for the v-neck. This is the less dramatic neckline option.

These pictures are taken in front of the bathroom mirror - which I know is kind of silly.

The sweater is knitted from the bottom up - with the front and back all together in the round. Overall, I am pleased although I would prefer longer sleeves to hide my arms... :)

I also knit a pair of socks sizes 6 mo - 1 year from a smooth variegated cotton yarn. They are straight forward and no fuss. Pattern by another Ravelry designer. I need to get these onto a baby and take more pictures.

Next - deciding what to start next. The most fun is deciding what to do when one project is done. Thinking of a shawl...
